The Barrett-Bateman Foundation was created primarily to serve the special needs of our local community. We seek to serve those who might not otherwise gain attention and assistance of other charitable organizations. The focus of the Barrett-Bateman Foundation is on those agencies and groups that serve those disadvantaged by poverty, homelessness, hunger and addictions to alcohol and drug abuse.
We are especially mindful of families in distress, from mental illness, joblessness and women seeking to rebuild the foundations of their lives and the lives of their children. We are keenly interested in Programs that help rebuild lives broken by addictive behaviors.
However, the Barett-Bateman Foundation is not an educational Foundation, however, we do attempt to assist deserving families, whenever possible to provide a Catholic education for their children.
